ManGrooves
Book Two: The Lair of Lou Carcolh (coming Dec 1, 2026)
The tour rolls into Paris with a fat commission, a rival, and a problem: something enormous is stirring under the city, and the cracks are spreading. The locals have a name for it: Lou Carcolh, the giant snail that has slept beneath the streets for centuries. Something has woken him up. And he is angry.
While Liev worries about money and The Tensions Mounting Boys swagger back into the picture, the real trouble is older and sadder than a monster under Paris: a two-thousand-year-old wrong, a Gaulish boy who tried to save his village, and a stolen pendant that should never have been taken. Meanwhile Kleena, who has been furious for several hundred years, has begun to hear something the others can't, and to wonder, for the first time, why she's so angry.
The second ManGrooves book digs underground, into history and grief and the things we carry far longer than we should as Nancy asks the question: who am I really? Do I have to be a trickster like my spider-deity-dad?
